Widevine Technologies Inc., which provides downloadable content-protection schemes, and video-on-demand-transport company TVN Entertainment Corp. announced a deal for TVN to use Widevine’s “Mensor” technology to watermark VOD content.
The Mensor watermark allows content providers to keep track of content throughout the transport network, from headend and servers to digital-video recorders, set-tops and even PCs and mobile devices.
