Three episodes of Home Box Office's Sex and the City will compete
against four broadcast shows for top comedy writing from the Writers Guild of
America.
Sex will compete with scripts from The Bernie Mac Show, Scrubs,
Frasier and Ed.
In the drama competition, HBO's Six Feet Under and The Sopranos
and Showtime's Resurrection Blvd. were nominated, along with NBC's The
West Wing and ER and the canceled The Education of Max
Bickford.
The awards will be handed out March 8.
