XM Dials Up HGTV, Food
Home & Garden Television and Food Network will be key contributors to Take Five, XM Satellite Radio’s new talk and lifestyle channel targeting women, officials said Tuesday.
Scripps Networks, in a joint agreement with XM, will provide original and reversioned programming from HGTV and Food, including long-form content and multiple short-form programs formatted specifically for Take Five’s radio audience.
Listeners will get information delivered from HGTV hosts such as Jane Lockhard of Get Color!,Nadia Ramirez of Decorating Cents and Lizz Witts from Mission Organization. XM’s Take Five listeners will also join Food personalities Giada Delaurentiis, Rachel Ray and Alton Brown in exploring new ways to approach food through culture, adventure and travel.
