Yack.com Shifts Business Focus

published Yack.com, the Internet program guide
started by former Showtime Networks Inc. executive Jeff Morris, is shifting its
business-to-consumer financial model to one where the company will syndicate and
license its online-events guide to other Internet properties.
Yack's ad-sales, marketing and business-development departments are being
folded into a new Yack Marketing & Sales division headed by general manager
Victoria Quoss, who joined Yack from MicroCast Inc.
Quoss is a former TV executive with Fox Broadcasting Co., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
Inc. and Tribune Entertainment.
Robert Klein was named vice president of sales for the
division.
