Janet Yale resigned as president and CEO of the Canadian Cable Television
Association, effective Wednesday.
Senior vice president of regulatory and external affairs Michael Hennessy
will assume Yale’s responsibilities on an acting basis until a successor is
named.
The committee that will search for her successor is made up of: CCTA chairman
Dean MacDonald; Ted Rogers, chairman and CEO, Rogers Communications Inc.; Jim
Shaw, CEO, Shaw Communications Inc.; and Louis Audet, president and CEO, Cogeco
Cable Canada Inc.
