Zachariah Named to Time Warner Cable Regional Post
Time Warner Cable said Friday that it has named Vin
Zachariah regional vice president of operations for its Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania division, replacing Steve Fry, who
is retiring after 39 years with the company.
Zachariah will oversee all areas of residential operations
and have direct responsibility for field technical operations and customer care
within the two-state division, the third largest within Time Warner Cable.
Zachariah previously served as regional vice president of
operations for Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio division. Prior to that, he was
vice president of operations for the Jackson,
Mississippi division and received
the Time Warner Chairman's Award for leading the system recovery efforts
following Hurricane Katrina.
Before coming to Time Warner Cable, Zachariah held positions
at Salomon Smith Barney, worked as an investment banker for Citigroup's media
group and was a Captain in the United States Air Force.
He is scheduled to start his new position on Sept. 21.
