ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 14, 2015 -- Bright House Networks viewers can follow Pope Francis' first-ever visit to the United States on a new temporary news channel. The Papal Visit 2015 channel, a special channel being offered by Time Warner Cable's NY1 news channel, will carry 24/7 coverage of the Pope's visit, beginning Sunday, September 20 through Sunday, September 27.
Pope Francis begins his visit with a Mass in Havana, Cuba on September 20, and will then travel to Washington, New York and Philadelphia where he will be the first Pope to ever address a joint meeting of Congress on September 24. He will also formally address the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, and attend the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia on September 26 and 27. The Papal Visit 2015 channel will be available in Standard Definition and in High Definition. The channel will also be available on the Bright House TV app, and on demand on Local On Demand channel 999.
